Was detailing the Jeep for a couple hours, and had the liftgate open for 20-30 minutes while I did all door jams and engine bay. Went to close it and nothing...tried it from the overhead button, rear button and key fob. Nothing. So I "closed" it manually and it will not latch/secure the tailgate. The upper tailgate has to be slammed to close and even then it will only close on one side. I have to shove the other side in to close. Also, every so often, while I'm driving it will just come open. I've checked for anything in the way of it closing but haven't found anything. Could it be the latches themselves? It normal.
